Dilhara Fernando to Join Sri Lanka Team in England
BCCSL - 3 May 2002

Fast bowler Dilhara Fernando is scheduled to leave for London on Saturday, 4th May, to join the Sri Lanka team which has begun its tour of England.

Fernando was picked for the Sri Lanka squad but his departure was delayed due to fitness problems stemming from a back injury. He will begin training in England under the direction of the Coach of the Sri Lanka team Dav Whatmore, Bowling Coach Daryl Foster, and Physiotherapist Alex Kontouri. (BCCSL media release)
