West Indies name unchanged squad Derrick Nicholas - 14 May 2002
With the current Cable & Wireless Test series tied 1-1 heading into the fifth and final Test match which begins on Saturday in Jamaica, the West Indies have named an unchanged 13-man squad to play against India. But, the West Indies are keeping their options open for the Sabina Test, with everything to play for in Jamaica. The Indians however, will be looking to shore up their bowling as neither side were able to bowl out the other in Antigua, with the match ending in a tame draw. West Indies drew level 1-1 with their emphatic 10-wicket triumph in the third Test at Bridgetown after India won the second Test by 37 runs at Port of Spain. The first Test at Georgetown and the fourth Test in Antigua were drawn. West Indies have lost all but one of their seven home series against the Indians and will be looking to preserve that record either by winning or drawing the final Test. The full squad reads: Carl Hooper (captain), Brian Lara (vice captain), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Pedro Collins, Cameron Cuffy, Mervyn Dillon, Chris Gayle, Ryan Hinds, Wavell Hinds, Ridley Jacobs, Dinanath Ramnarine, Adam Sanford and Ramnaresh Sarwan. © CricInfo Ltd
