Pakistan Cricket Board is commemorating the ten years of Pakistan's win in the 1992 World Cup by holding a dinner function in Lahore on 30th March 2002. Besides celebrating the 1992 victory, the objective of the event is to provide a morale booster and a kick-off for the preparations for the 2003 World Cup.

In addition to honouring the heroes of the 1992 team, the PCB is also giving awards to the top performers in the One-day Internationals for Pakistan in the last three decades. The Chairman of Pakistan Test Cricket Golden Jubilee Committee will also announce the activities planned for the rest of the year in connection with the Golden Jubilee of Pakistan Test Cricket.

The show will be an interesting and colourful affair with Anwar Maqsood as the host. Multimedia projections will be used to show the gathering the glorious moments of the 1992 World Cup. In addition to the 1992 team, the present Pakistan team and other cricketing personalities have also been invited, from all over the country.
