Revised Itinerary for ICC Champions Trophy 2002

Sri Lanka will take on Pakistan in the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2002 at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium on the 12th of September.
In all, nine of the tournament's 15 matches will be day-night fixtures at Premadasa, adding variety and atmosphere to the tournament. They include the final, the two semi-finals and six Pool stage matches. The Sinhalese Sports Club will host the other six Pool stage matches.
Each of the 12 competing nations will play two games in the Pool stage of the tournament between the 12th and 23rd September. The semi finals will take place on Wednesday 25th and Friday 27th, with the final scheduled for Sunday 29th September.
