Hatton National Bank successfully defended their Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) title with a three-wicket victory against John Keels on the weekend.
John Keels, only granted a place in the last four when East West were disqualified for breaking player registration regulations, scored 220 when they batted first.
Jehan Mubarak, adjudged afterwards the best batsman in the tournament, top scoring with 49.
HNB reached the target with 10 balls to spare thanks to a fine unbeaten 71 by Kumar Dharmasena, an innings that won him the man of the match award. He was well supported by Sanjeewa Silva who scored 59.
Leg-spinner Malinga Bandara was named as the player of the tournament.
