PCB releases the Justice Bhandari Inquiry Report Pakistan Cricket Board - 22 June 2002
The PCB on Saturday released the report by Mr. Justice Karamat Nazir Bhandari of the Lahore High Court. In its findings the commission has cleared the entire Pakistan team of any match-fixing charges during the 1999 World Cup matches against Bangladesh and India. As the findings of the Commission are in the negative on all the above points as per its terms of reference, "the Commission is not required to recommend appropriate punishment and measures", the report added in its findings. A copy of the Commission of Inquiry report by Mr. Justice Karamat Nazir Bhandari will also be submitted to the ICC, by Director PCB, during the forthcoming ICC Executive Board meeting in London.
