Michael Parsons enjoys his day in Bristol for Somerset Seconds

Somerset Academy player Michael Parsons had a day that he is unlikely to forget in a hurry at the County Ground in Bristol today.

The seventeen youngster who lives in Taunton and plays his club cricket at Wembdon in Bridgwater ended the day with 3 for 12 from his 3 overs as Gloucestershire slipped to 59 for 4 in reply to the Somerset Seconds total of 194 all out.

Evergreen Graham Rose was the hero with the bat for Somerset when they resumed this morning and ended unbeaten on 58 not out. For Gloucestershire James Averis ended with 4 for 32.
