ACC team due on August 17 18 July 2002
A three-man delegation of the Bangladesh Cricket Board is due to arrive in Islamabad on Aug 7 for a formal taking over of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The delegation comprising Ali Asghar, president elect of ACC, Syed Ashraful Haq (secretary elect) and Habibur Rehman (treasurer elect) will be handed over the charge by the outgoing chairman, Lt. Gen Tauqir Zia on August 8. The delegates will be in the federal capital till August 10. Pakistan have been in charge of the ACC for two and a half years after having started their tenure in late February 2000. Meanwhile the ACC development committee that has Duleep Mendis of Sri Lanka as chairman is to continue its working till October this year. Other members on the committee are Mazhar Khan (UAE), J.
