PCB sets up umpires panel
Pakistan Cricket Board - 12 July 2002

A five day panel induction Course concluded at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 11th July 2002. Organized under the aegies of the National Umpiring Council of PCB, the course was aimed to train umpires for Grade II umpiring assignments. It was mandatory for the participants to have qualified Basic Regional Course and possess Intermediate education qualification. It was attended by 50 potential umpires, who also took an oral and written examination on the concluding day of the course. Those who finally qualify will be include in the panel of PCB Grade II umpires.

The course was conducted by NUC Chairman Mahboob Shah, assisted by former Test Umpire Khizar Hayat.
