New Zealand Cricket appoints new Public Affairs Manager

New Zealand Cricket has appointed Steve Addison as its Public Affairs Manager from July 17, 2002.

Mr Addison replaces Michelle Lewis, who is leaving the position on July 11 to move to Australia with her family.

Mr Addison comes to New Zealand Cricket from a communications position at the Canterbury District Health Board.

He has extensive experience in public relations and journalism having also worked in a public relations role for the Department of Conservation and as a reporter at the Otago Daily Times and other South Island papers.
