Chairman PCB has appointed Mr. Abid Ali Kazi, as the official Statistician and Historian of Pakistan Cricket Board on honorary basis, in view of his meritorious services towards the research and documentation of statistical history of Pakistan Cricket.

"Your valuable advice will help us in organizing our archives and museum. We will also seek your assistance for the maintenance of statistics and records of past and present domestic and international cricket". Chairman PCB said in a letter addressed to him.

Meanwhile a farewell lunch was held in honour of Mr. Abid Ali Kazi, at the PCB Headquarters, Gaddafi Stadium which was attended by all officials of the PCB. Mr. Kazi, who till recently was G.M. Marketing in PCB had resigned from PCB for personal reasons recently.
