Somerset Under 13's travelled to Ponthir C.C. on Sunday where they played against Gwent.
Batting first the home side scored 164, with Ben Lyons being the pick of the Somerset bowlers ending with 3 for 20 in his 8 overs.
In reply Somerset were bowled out for 109,Bradley Derrick top scoring with 25 to give Gwent victory by 59 runs.
