The BCCSL has organized the following specialized coaching programmes, as part of its continuous efforts to assist the improvement of outstation cricketers and young cricketers.

1. Fielding programme by Ruwan Kalpage, assisted by U. Karnain, for under 15 and 17 cricketers of the Galle district, at the Galle International Stadium on 20th February 2002.

2. Fielding programme by Ruwan Kalpage, assisted by U. Karnain, for under 15 and 17 cricketers of the Matara district, at the Matara International Stadium on 21st February 2002.

3. Specialized coaching programme for under 15 cricketers of four schools, at the Galle International Stadium on 25th February 2002, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
