Cronje gets a job CricInfo Reporter - 7 February 2002
Former South African captain Hansie Cronje has been appointed a financial manager at earth-moving machinery company Bell Equipment, the South African Press Association has reported. Cronje, who was banned from cricket for life for his part in the match-fixing scandal, took up his position on February 1. Sapa quotes Bell financial executive Derek Crandon as saying that the decision to offer Cronje the position was based on his "outstanding academic record". Cronje has a B Comm degree and has been studying for a Masters in Business Administration since being sacked as South African captain in 2000. Bell Equipment is based in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg.
