No changes to TelstraClear Black Caps second Test line-up New Zealand Cricket - 15 December 2002
New Zealand Cricket chairman of selectors Sir Richard Hadlee announced there would be no changes to the TelstraClear Black Caps team to play India in the second Test starting in Hamilton on Thursday. The team is:
Stephen Fleming (captain) Hadlee said that he was delighted with the first Test performance, particularly the bowlers, but that there was still the need for greater contributions from some of the top and middle-order batsman. "Clearly after a convincing win like this one there is reason to think this team is moving in the right direction. "The bowing and fielding in the second innings was top class but we would like to see our batsman developing meaningful partnerships to give us the complete all-round performance we are striving for." The team leaves from Wellington for Hamilton on Tuesday. © New Zealand Cricket
