Somerset set to play England Under-19s at Seaton Cricket Club

Somerset have just announced that they will play England Under 19's in a 50 overs match at Seaton Cricket Club in Devon on Sunday August 25th starting at 10.45 a.m.

This match is a warm up for the England hopefuls ahead of the two back to back one-day internationals against India on August 29th and 30th at The County Ground, Taunton.

Graham Saville, the former Essex star and now England Manager said, "We are very grateful to both Somerset and Seaton for staging this important warm-up match for us".

John Wheeler, Seaton Cricket Chairman said, "It is an honour for the Club to stage this match and we are very grateful to a number of local and national businesses whose sponsorship and support has allowed us to stage this prestigious match".

Marcus Trescothick, a former England Under 19 Captain and a now a full England player will be in attendance during the day as a guest.

Seaton Captain, Matt Hewer, will play for Somerset as will wicket keeper Jon Payn who has played a number of county 2nd XI matches and is currently attending the Bradford Leeds University Centre of Cricketing Excellence.

Seaton Club Chairman, Philly Arbourne, said, "We are going to make this a special day in the Club's history and all our volunteers will be mobilised to provide a catering service and safe family environment for people to watch a fantastic match".
