Somerset Seconds go down at Usk

A young Somerset Seconds side lost their re arranged four day championship match against Glamorgan at Usk CC last week.

Batting first Somerset were all out for 181, with Scott Cunningham continuing his run of good from and making 50.

Despite play on the second day being delayed until tea time Glamorgan amassed 484 when they batted.

Batting for a second time Somerset were bowled out for 139, with Arul Suppiah top scoring with 39, to give the hosts victory by an innings and 164 runs.

The Seconds are next in action when they play Gloucestershire at Bristol University in a 3 day championship match starting on Wednesday.
