Fast bowler Javagal Srinath was not included in a list, announced on Friday, of 20 probables for the ICC Knockout Championship scheduled for September in Sri Lanka.

After a meeting of the selectors at Mumbai, the complete list was announced to the press. Although there are no other notable exceptions, left-arm spinner Murali Kartik and seamer L Balaji have, with consistent performances for the India 'A' side, forced their way into the list.

The final squad of 14 is to be announced on August 12.
