ICC Media Release - 19 April 2002

Sri Lanka's bowling attack was severely hindered by the loss of Muralitharan, who injured a shoulder when fielding early in the game.
When Sri Lanka batted it was the turn of Pakistan's pace attack to dominate, Akram, Akhtar and Younis doing the damage as the Sri Lanka innings closed at 78 for 9 from 16.5 overs - Muralitharan being unable to bat.
