Yorkshire offers chance to see reigning champions for free Media Release - 17 April 2002
Yorkshire CCC is offering all Cricket supporters the opportunity to watch their team in action against the Bradford/Leeds University team free of charge. The Match is a three-day fixture starting on Saturday 20th April (not Friday). Gates are open from 9.30am and the match commences at 11am. It will be a great opportunity to watch many of the Yorkshire players as they prepare for the opening Frizzell Championship Match at Headingley v Surrey on Wednesday 24th April. Also at the ground over the weekend is the ECB Roadshow, which will give children the opportunity to test their cricketing skills in the inflatable outdoor game zones, take part in a BBC Radio Commentary Challenge Game, plus lots more. On Sunday 21st April a Yorkshire team will be playing at Redcar in Cleveland an aid of Jamie Hood who was paralysed in a car crash in South Africa. The Match starts at 1pm at Redcar Cricket Club. © Yorkshire CCC
