Somerset coach Kevin Shine has named a strong side that includes Peter Bowler, Richard Johnson and Rob Turner for the one day match against Hampshire at the County Ground tomorrow.

The full side for the match is: Piran Holloway, Matt Wood, Mike Burns, Peter Bowler, Keith Parsons, Ian Blackwell, Rob Turner, Keith Dutch, Richard Johnson, Pete Trego and Matt Bulbeck.

Kevin Shine told me: "This is our last warm up match before we start our season proper next Wednesday against Sussex, so we will be taking it very seriously and the boys will get out there and compete."

Hampshire, who won promotion from the second division in 2001, are coached by former Somerset favourite Jimmy Cook whose presence will no doubt evoke a few memories.

The visitors are expected to bring along their championship side so the match, which will be played over 50 overs each will prove to be a good test for the Cidermen.

Play gets underway on Wednesday at 11am, entry is free and the newly refurbished bar will be open all day for refreshments.
