Barbados Under-15s seek to pull it back Louis Holder - 2 April 2002
Barbados will be on a recovery mission when the third round in the 2002 Regional Under-15 Cricket Competition starts today. After completely outplaying Jamaica in their opening fixture on Saturday, they fell to an improved Guyana on Sunday. Manager Clinton St Hill is optimistic of Barbados winning the three remaining games and maintaining a chance of taking the championship. Obviously, we didn't play to our best potential on Sunday, but we have to put that behind us and look forward positively to our remaining games, he told NATIONSPORT. Barbados will take on Leeward Islands today at the Queen's Park Oval. Trinidad and Tobago take on Guyana in a key fixture at the Inshan Ali Park, while Jamaica play Windwards at Gilbert Park. Standings: Trinidad and Tobago 8, Barbados 4, Leewards 4, Guyana 4, Jamaica 0. © The Barbados Nation Source: The Barbados Nation Editorial comments can be sent to The Barbados Nation at nationnews@sunbeach.net |
