Speaking at the end of a day when he had seen his side clinch the County Championship runners up spot, Somerset Coach told me, "We will be going all out to win our match against Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday at The County Ground. However there are two other games also going on that could well influence where we end up in the Division One table."

The Coach has named a squad of twelve for the vital game, which gets underway at 12 noon on Sunday.England stars Andy Caddick and Marcus Trescothick are missing as is Peter Bowler who is still involved with his law exams.

The full squad is, Jamie Cox, Matthew Wood, Mike Burns, Mark Lathwell, Ian Blackwell, Keith Parsons, Rob Turner, Keith Dutch, Jason Kerr, Richard Johnson, Steffan Jones, Jamie Grove. The final selection will depend on whether Somerset opt for an extra batsman or bowler on the day.
