The PCB Chairman, Lt Gen Tauqir Zia on Saturday expressed his deep condolences on the death of Bismah, Saeed Anwar's 3 and a half year old daughter who died yesterday after a prolonged illness.

In a message sent to Saeed and his family he said "I have been shocked to hear of the sad news of your daughter passing away. Her untimely departure leaves us all sad".

Director PCB Brig Munawar Rana rang up from Multan to express his condolences to Saeed and added "All my colleagues in PCB join me to convey our sincere and deep condolences to you and other members of the family and our prayers are with you on this great loss."

All the PCB officials and cricketers present in Lahore expressed their sympathy and joined in the funeral held at Cavalry Ground on Saturday morning.
