Twin centuries for QAS against New Zealand
AAP - 27 October 2001
Lee Carseldine has become the second batsman from the Queensland Academy of Sport to score a century against New Zealand in the three-day tour match
at Allan Border Field.
At tea on the second day, the QAS is five for 356 with Carseldine on 110 and Chris Hartley on four.
Carseldine and captain Jerry Cassell put on 205 runs for the fourth wicket before Cassell was out for 163.
Nathan Astle and Craig McMillan took the two wickets in the second session, but New Zealand's other bowlers have plenty of work to do before the
Test series against Australia begins on Thursday week.
