PCB announces U-19 Grade-II final and awards
Pakistan Cricket Board - 1 October 2001
Under-19 Grade-II Final is being played in Peshawar between FATA and Quetta, form Ist October to 3rd October 2001. In the U-19 Grade-II a total of 45 teams from all over Pakistan took part. Four pools were made. In Pool-A Sindh, it had 2 groups. While Pool-B NWFP, also had 2 groups. Pool-C Baluchistan, also had 2 groups. Pool-D Punjab, had 4 groups.
The Regional Final between the group of Pool-A was won by Quetta against Turbat. The Winner of Pool-B was FATA after defeating Azad Kashmir and Winner of Pool-C was Larkana which beat Mirpur Khas. In Punjab the Pool-D the Winner was Multan which beat Sialkot. Pakistan Cricket Board gave away Rs. 10,000/- to the Winner, with a Trophy and Runner-up was given a Trophy. For the Final of Under-19 Grade-II Pakistan Cricket Board has Prize Money of Rs. 20,000/- for the Winner, Rs. 10,000/- for the Runner-up plus Trophies and individuals Cups for Best Batsman, Best WK, Best Bowler and Best Fielder Rs. 2,000/- each as Prize Money.
