CLEAR Black Caps side to play South Australia named New Zealand Cricket - 15 November 2001
The CLEAR Black Caps team to play South Australia in a 4-day match in Adelaide starting tomorrow (Friday, 16 November) is:
Craig McMillan (Captain) Test captain Stephen Fleming and right-hand batsman Nathan Astle have played all games on tour to date and are being rested, as is all-rounder Chris Cairns. Left-arm bowler Shayne O'Connor is unavailable for selection because of a knee injury. Coach Denis Aberhart said seamers Martin, Tuffey and Bond are competing for one or possibly two positions up for grabs in the CLEAR Black Caps side to play Australia in the second Test in Hobart. "We are continuing to monitor Shayne O'Connor's progress and his availability will probably determine whether we are looking for one or two new seam-bowlers for the second Test," said Aberhart. © New Zealand Cricket
