Western Australian Second XI team announced to play the CBCA Western Australian Cricket Association - 8 November 2001
The following players have been named by the WA State Selectors to, represent the WA Second XI v the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy, from Monday 12 November to Thursday 15 November at, Richardson Park in South Perth.
TIMES: 11.00AM - 1.00PM, 1.40PM - 3.40PM, 4.00PM - 6.00PM UMPIRES: B BENNETT & C ALLEN Noel Knight, in his capacity as assistant coach of the Western Warriors, will act as the coach of the WA Second XI. Michael Clark, a left arm medium-fast bowler from the Subiaco Floreat Cricket Club, is the son of former WA Coach and Player, Wayne Clark. Rob Baker is participating in his first four-day game, since being struck down with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome during the 1999-2000 season. The following team has been named to represent the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy, against the WA Second XI.
Five West Australians have been selected in the Academy team: Beau Casson, Sean Marsh, Luke Ronchi, Rob Slowey and Michael Thistle. Robert Slowey is not on a CBCA Scholarship, and is classed as a visiting athlete for the purpose of this match. © 2001 Western Australian Cricket Association
