New look for Notts but CricInfo retains sponsorship Media Release - 1 May 2001
There's a new look to Notts Outlaws this summer. . . but they will still carry the name of CricInfo on the front of their re-designed shirts. Nottinghamshire have clinched a two-year extension to their sponsorship deal with the world's leading cricket website company, which is worth a substantial five-figure sum. Said Lisa Pursehouse, Notts' Sales and Marketing Manager: "We enjoyed a very good relationship with CricInfo last summer and are delighted they have agreed to back the Outlaws for the next two years. "It was to our mutual benefit when we won promotion to Division One of the Norwich Union League and hopefully our partnership will be the formula for more success." The Outlaws have adopted a new-look green and yellow kit and the good news for Notts fans is that the replica shirts have reduced in price. Now manufactured by Exito, they are now available in the Club Shop at Trent Bridge priced £34.95 for adult sizes and £29.95 for children. Peter Griffiths, CricInfo's Managing Director, said: "Our sponsorship of the Notts Outlaws was a great success for us last year. The team did the job on the field and won promotion which was great for them and us. "Playing Division One cricket this year will mean that the Outlaws will enjoy an even higher profile. They're a successful side and we're very pleased to continue our association with them."
