Bowling advisors appointed31 March 2001
In line with the new procedure adopted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to deal with bowlers with suspect bowling action, the game's managers in Pakistan have appointed different groups.
According to a Pakistan Cricket Board press release, former leg- spinner Iqbal Sikander, off-spinner Ijaz Faqih and paceman Mohsin Kamal have been named on the Board's Group of Bowling Advisors.
Sikander Bakht (fast bowler), Intikhab Alam (leg-spinner), Hasib Ahsan (off-spinner) and Mohsin Khan (ex-Test batsman) make the ICC Bowling Advisors group.
The ICC Bowling Review Group will comprise Col (Retd) Naushad Ali (referee), Mahboob Shah (ex-International umpire) and Col (Retd) Shujauddin Butt (ex-Test player).
