CHENNAI - New South Wales cricket captain Shane Lee will travel to India to replace quick Jason Gillespie in the Australian one-day international squad.
An Australian Cricket Board spokesman said today that the travel arrangements were yet to be worked out but he confirmed that Queenslander Michael Kasprowicz will also fly home.
A tired and sore Gillespie will miss the one-day series against India, which starts in Bangalore with a day-night match tomorrow.
He will fly out of India along with fellow Test players Kasprowicz, Colin Miller, Michael Slater and Justin Langer.
