Miller and Graveney have their selection contracts extended
ECB Media Release - 19 March 2001
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced today that David Graveney (Chairman of Selectors) and Geoff Miller have been offered, and have accepted, extended contracts as Selectors through to the end of the npower Test Series against South Africa in 2003.
They join the England Management team of Duncan Fletcher (Head Coach), Phil Neale (Team Operations Manager), Dean Conway (Physiotherapist) and Nigel Stockill (Physiologist) in having committed themselves to the England cause through to the end of Summer 2003.
Tim Lamb, ECB Chief Executive said, "We are delighted that David and Geoff have agreed to extend their terms as Selectors. They have been working most effectively with Duncan and Nasser on the Selection Panel. We intend to build on the recent improved performance of the England Team and believe that continuity in Management and Selection is one of the best ways to fulfil this aim."
