There was only league game played over the weekend of February 18-19 due to a crowded junior programme that had both the KIGS (King's College, Igbobi College, Government College Ibadan and St Gregory's College) Championship as well as the Magnum Trust Bank Cup event involving Lagos Schools competing for limited cricket infrastructure.

GCI Old Boys extended their unbeaten run in the league this season to 6 victories and thus moved to the top of the table with 194 points a point ahead of FCC1. GCI defeated Dyaks by 75 runs after scoring 216 all out and restricting the opposition to 141 runs.

Despite losing a match the champions have amassed 68 bonus points especially from batting to maintain a steady pursuit of the title and have also played 6 matches.

Cosmo drop to third place with 189 points from seven matches played while FCC2 have 139 points from six matches to retain the fourth position in the league. The batting positions have not changed with no remarkable batting performance from the sole match played.

The first four bowlers by wickets i.e Bayo Thompson and Oboh Omoigui with 18 wickets apiece, Joshua Ogunlola(17), Tony Ovie-Whiskey(15) retain their positions as third and fourth. Tayo Okusanya who starred for GCI over the weekend retains his fifth position but improves his wicket haul to 14 from 12 though his average drops from 9 to 10.57 from his 46 overs that have cost him 148 runs.

Taiwo Odeniyi also of GCI improves his wicket cache from 7 to 11 at an average of 8.18 having bowled 21.1 overs and conceding 90 runs to place sixth on the list of wicket-takers while young Seun Odeku moves into seventh place with 10 wickets for 184 runs from his 39 overs bowled but with an expensive average of 18.40.
