Somerset Second Eleven lost their 100% record in the one-day competition when they were beaten by Hampshire Seconds at Southampton on Wednesday.
Batting first Hampshire made 195, with Andrew Sexton contributing 43.
In reply Somerset were dismissed for 140 to give Hampshire victory by 55 runs.
Somerset will be looking to put this defeat behind them and get back to winning ways when they take on Glamorgan Seconds at the County Ground in Taunton on Friday.
