* No fracture in Laxman's finger Indian middle order batsman VVS Laxman, who injured his left index finger during India's emphatic win over Zimbabwe in Harare on Sunday, did not suffer any fracture and will be under medical supervision for a few days. According to team manager Chetan Chauhan "Laxman's finger is not broken but it has been crushed a bit by the impact of the ball hitting his finger and he would be under medical supervision for the next 2-3 days." Laxman was injured when he caught Zimbabwe opener Dion Ebrahim off Ajit Agarkar in the slips in India's opening triangular one-day series match. The team manaement is hoping Laxman would be fit for the second game against Zimbabwe, due to be played in Bulawayo on June 27. * BCCI tour and fixtures committee to meet on July 7 The tour and fixtures committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet at Jaipur on July 7, according to the BCCI executive secretary Sharad Diwadkar. Diwadkar, a former Mumbai Ranji player, told PTI in Mumbai on Tuesday, that the main agenda during the meeting would be to finalise the international commitments after the tour of South Africa and to make changes, if any, in the domestic circuit for the next season. * Ravikumar is chief coach Former Andhra Ranji captain MN Ravikumar has been appointed chief coach of the Visakhaptnam District Cricket Association for all its teams - seniors, Under-22, Under-19 and Under-16 for the 2001-2002 season.
