South Wilts all-rounder Sillence joins Gloucestershire Mike Vimpany - 17 June 2001
South Wilts all-rounder Roger Sillence has signed professional terms with Gloucestershire after a series of fine Second XI Championship performances. Sillence, 24, who has played at Lower Bemerton since he was nine years of ago, took seven wickets and hit 62 in his last 2nd XI appearance against Kent. He will play Western League cricket for Bath club Downend for the remainder of the season. © SEPL
