Hick pledges future to Worcestershire CricInfo - 23 July 2001
Graeme Hick has signed a new three-year contract with Worcestershire CCC that will keep him at the club until 2004. Hick made his debut for the club in 1984, as an overseas player, and has since scored nearly 33,000 runs with a staggering 115 first-class centuries. He will be 38 by the end of the 2004 season so the deal may well ensure that he finishes his career at the club "He has been an enormous asset to the club in the past and we expect to see him continuing to be so in the future." Tom Moody, Worcestershire's director of cricket said. Hick added: "I feel the club is at exciting stage in its development and I see it as a real challenge to help take the club to the top with Tom Moody." © CricInfo
