Tickets on sale early for Triangular Tournament.
BCCSL - 13 July 2001
The Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka has made arrangements to facilitate the sale of tickets for the Triangular One-Day International Tournament between Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand, by making them available ten days ahead of the start of the tournament.
Tickets are already on sale at the BCCSL headquarters and the Hotel Taj Samudra, which are located at central points in the city.
Tickets for the three matches to be played at the new Rangiri Dambulla Stadium are also available in Colombo. Tickets for all matches will be on sale in Kandy and Dambulla for the convenience of cricket-lovers outside Colombo, from the date of the first match, July 18. Tickets unsold as to open stands will be available at the gates at each venue on the days of matches.
Tickets have been priced in a manner in which to create the maximum demand for all matches, with lower rates for matches that will be played on weekdays.
Tickets for the Test Series versus India from August 14 to September 2, which follows the conclusion of the Triangular Tournament, will also be made available in Colombo, Kandy and Galle, well ahead of the matches
