Somerset Second Eleven are through to the semi finals of the One Day competition for the first time for a number of years.

Their last zonal match against Worcestershire at Keynsham was abandoned because of the weather with both sides taking one point.

That one point was enough to see Somerset Seconds through to the knock out semi finals, which are due to be played on August 6th, with the 7th being the reserve day.

The draw for the semis will take place in the near future.
