The Board of Control for Cricket in India Umpires Committee will meet in New Delhi on January 21 to decide the panel of umpires to officiate during the forthcoming tour of India by the Australian team.

The meeting, which will precede that of the Working Committee by a day, will also finalise the posting of umpires for the various matches in the series, Committee Chairman CK Khanna, who is also a BCCI vice-president, said in New Delhi on Monday.

The other members of the committee are: V Jagannath (Karnataka), Col AD Sharma (Services), Rajiv Shukla (UP), Samiran Chakravarty (Tripura) and R Dalvi (Baroda). The BCCI joint secretary Jyoti Bajpai is the convenor of the committee.
