Nottinghamshire pursue Logan Staff and Agencies - 5 January 2001
Nottinghamshire have admitted that they have offered unsettled seamer Richard Logan a position at Trent Bridge. "We have offered Richard a move to Trent Bridge and he has gone away to think about it over the weekend," said Mick Newell, the assistant cricket manager. "We are expecting his answer early next week." Logan, who celebrates his 21st birthday later this month, has turned down the offer of a new contract at Northamptonshire, despite the fact that the county were top of the second division of the championship in the 2000 season. Logan took just 11 first-class wickets last season, but is seen as a promising talent, having figured in the England Under-19 team in the past. © CricInfo Ltd.
