Jumbos need to consolidate their position R Dawson - 5 January 2001
EP Jumbo supporters will see a motivated and determined EP side on Friday, 5 January at St. George's Park when EP will take on Griquas in the Standard Bank Cup Cricket challenge. This match will also be last of the sporting events of Tourism PE's Clover Summer Season Programme. Although the Jumbos suffered two successive losses to Western Province and Northerns, the EP Team is confident that they will get it right this time.
Tickets are available from EP Cricket at R10 for children under eighteen and R20 for adults. The gates will open at 14:00 for patrons and at 14:30 for the public. The game will start at 15:45. Jumbo's supporters should remember not to bring bottles, knives and alcohol into St. George's Park, rather support Caste Corner. During the break at approximately 18:50, supporters will be allowed on the field and they can once again compete in the Ball Catching and Ball Throwing competition. No special arrangements have been made for parking, but there will be security as always.
