New appointments at Warwickshire Warwickshire CCC Media Release - 28 February 2001
The Club's General Committee recently approved the co-option of former Warwickshire cricketers Asif Din and Gladstone Small to the Cricket sub-Committee at Edgbaston. In addition former Warwickshire batsman John Jameson has been co-opted to the Club's Pitches Committee after many years at Lord's with the MCC. Former Moseley Ashfield cricketer Jeremy Payne who is a chartered surveyor by profession and managing director of DTZ has been co-opted to the Club's General Committee in his capacity as Vice-Chairman of the Warwickshire County Cricket Supporters Association. We are sure that all of these appointments will bring with them valuable knowledge and particular expertise to the running of the Club, and they will undoubtedly make major contributions to Warwickshire cricket in the future. Finally, the Club has awarded Honorary Life Membership to Andy Lloyd, Geoff Humpage and John Jameson in recognition of their services to Warwickshire Cricket over many years. © Warwickshire CCC
