Western Warriors tune up for final with song choices
Western Australia Cricket Association - 20 February 2001
The atmosphere at Sunday's Mercantile Mutual Cup final at the WACA Ground will move up a notch with music set to accompany players on to bat and bowl.
The Western Warriors and New South Wales Blues have been asked to choose songs following the Australian Cricket Board's successful introduction of musical interludes during the recent Carlton Series.
The Western Warriors have selected the following songs;
JO ANGEL: Kick Start My Heart, RYAN CAMPBELL: Hit Me With Your Best Shot, MURRAY GOODWIN: Break My Stride, KADE HARVEY: She Bangs, BRAD HOGG: Who Let the Dogs Out?, MIKE HUSSEY: That Don't Impress Me Much, BRENDON JULIAN: American Woman, SIMON KATICH: Bad To The Bone, TOM MOODY: New Sensation, MARCUS NORTH: Don't Call Me Baby, DUNCAN SPENCER: Thunderstruck, DARREN WATES: Free Styler,
BRAD WILLIAMS: All Fired Up.
Warriors captain Tom Moody was obviously showing his sense of humour in selecting INXS' `New Sensation'.
At 35-years-of-age Moody - who holds the Australian record for domestic one-day matches - will be playing his 75th and last one-day match for WA.
