PCB bulletin on ICC meeting Pakistan Cricket Board - 11 February 2001
Sir Paul Condon head of ICC Anti Corruption Unit met Chairman PCB Lt. Gen. Tauqir Zia on 9th February at Melbourne. Mutual cooperation was extended. Sir Paul is investigating all other reports. Pakistan's judicial inquiry (Pakistan Vs Bangladesh match of 1999 World Cup) will be done, but handed over only after others complete their inquiries.
Dr. Ali Bacher's "allegations case" against Pakistan will now be dealt with by the ICC Code of Conduct Commission. He will answer for making unsubstantiated allegations against Pakistan.
The ICC will consider means to resolve the issue of India's reluctance play Pakistan.
ICC Knock Out 2002. Pakistan would be the alternate venue, if India as first choice venue is ruled out.
The Under-17 Cricket team of Pakistan is scheduled to travel to Bangladesh enroute Karachi from Lahore on 13th February to participate in ICC/ACC Under-17 tournament.
