The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will submit its own 10-year plan in next week's International Cricket Council. The PCB has chalked out the schedule after it rejected the itinerary prepared and made available to them by the ICC. That itinerary was turned down after Pakistan was scheduled to play five series' with India - three at home.

"After India's withdrawal from this year's series, who would take the risk of approving and signing the 10-year schedule," an official of the PCB said, "We have already lost $15million and would only consider signing the ICC document if the game's governing body promises us to compensate for losses in case India doesn't fulfil its commitment."

According to the PCB plan, it intends to play 40 series' with three each against South Africa and Australia over the next 10 years on home and away basis.

"If we have to flourish and improve our cricket, we have to play more against teams which are better than us. Australia and South Africa are no doubt better sides and we can learn a lot from them."

The PCB has, however, included India in its schedule on equal terms but on the condition that the neighbours would first tour Pakistan. It was not confirmed how many times India would host Pakistan but the PCB has shown keenness to take them at home thrice.

In the proposal, the PCB has also suggested to organize tri-nation one-day competitions at home in alternate years if not every year.
