Duncan Fletcher, the England Head Coach, will reveal his philosophy for identifying and developing success when he addresses Cricket Live 2001, the England and Wales Cricket Board's 'World Cricket Coaches Conference and Exhibition', which takes place at the Telford International Centre on 1-2 May.

Fletcher will be just one of many world-renowned cricket coaches and legendary ex-players brought together for this special two-day coach-education event. South Africa's Barry Richards will lecture on batting against spin bowling, India's Bishen Bedi and Australia's Terry Jenner will teach the art of bowling spin, while former Australian wicket-keeper Ian Healy will deliver a masterclass on expertise behind the stumps.

Sponsored by Channel 4, Cricket Live 2001 will build on the success of its inaugural event in 1999 when over 2000 coaches from 32 countries were entertained and educated by some of the world's best coaches. It was the largest cricket coach-education event ever staged.

Mushtaq Mohammed, Graham Gooch, Rod Marsh, Mike Gatting, Frank Dick and Olympic gold medallist Adrian Moorhouse will also take part in a series of workshop sessions dealing with a multitude of coaching issues from 'mental preparation' to 'opening the batting'.

Each of the two days are split between coaching clinics taking place in the Telford International Centre's main arena, which has a capacity for 3,000 spectators, and a number of practical, theory and demonstrative workshops. In all 34 separate sessions on a variety of coaching topics will be undertaken.

An exhibition will also provide the opportunity for coaches to meet cricket manufacturers and view the latest products and services on offer to the modern coach and player. The exhibition will cover cricket equipment, coaching aids, fitness and training equipment, playing kit, club clothing, cricket tours and related services.
