ICC seeks Anti Corruption Co-ordinator

THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL
is seeking to employ a suitable person to become its

Anti Corruption
Co-ordinator

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the governing body for International Test Match and One Day cricket. As part of the ICC's initiatives to eliminate corruption from the game of cricket, the ICC has resolved to appoint an Anti Corruption Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and manage the ongoing implementation of the initiatives aimed at maximising the elimination of corrupt practices from the game.

Specifically, the responsibilities of the successful applicant will be to:

  • Liaise and create good relations with Member countries, the ICC Anti Corruption Unit and Security Officers.
  • Ensure that the momentum of the ICC implementation program is maintained.
  • Be the first point of contact with Member countries on practical implementation matters.
  • Provide training and education to Member countries and others as necessary.
  • Produce, update where necessary and distribute all ICC Anti Corruption training, awareness and educational materials to all Member countries, Security Officers and others as required.
  • Collect and maintain records of all persons from all Member countries and other areas who have undergone ICC Anti Corruption training and ensure that Security Managers have all materials necessary to carry out their functions.
  • Ensure that the ACU is regularly appraised as to progress.

The attributes of the successful candidate will include:

  • Attention to detail and an ability to implement complicated processes across the cricket world.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills across the diverse cultures of the cricket world.
  • Ability to oversee the design, documentation and production of ICC educational materials.
  • The ability to work within a small team to tight deadlines under close media and public scrutiny.
