The Nigeria Cricket Association (NCA) following the refusal of the Tafawa Balewa Square Investments Limited to vacate the Pavillion and grounds of the
Tafawa Balewa Square cricket oval has taken the matter to the Nigeria Police
Force.
The Minister of Defence with the authority of the President had handed over the pavillion and grounds to the NCA in July after it had been taken away for over 30 years by previous military governments.
The Police has given the illegal occupants up to today to vacate the grounds
or face forceful eviction by law enforcement officers.
