Outcome of Code of Conduct hearing
Canterbury Cricket Association - 6 December 2001
Allegations against State Canterbury Wizards players Paul Wiseman and Warren Wisneski for the breach of Rule 2 Code of Conduct have been dismissed.
In an interim decision reached by the commissioner PJ Doody, the players have been found to have nothing to answer for.
Garth Gallaway, a partner in the Christchurch Law Firm Duncan Cotterill, who represented Wiseman and Wisneski said that the players were dismayed by Otago's decision to cite them.
Wiseman, a former Otago player, has played over 90 first-class games, and Wisneski who has played over 50 first-class games.
Neither has been cited before in relation to on-field misdemeanors in first-class cricket.
